technique: acrylics & monotyping

This is an illustration of my dissertation project. As subject I chose James Matthew Barrie's book Peter Pan. The style of the images is very rough and dark. It primarily addresses adults and adolescents.

The crocodile was the first illustration I finished for Peter Pan. Up until now it's still my favorite picture of the book. I think you can recognize the ambition and motivation that pushed me to start this project.
